about

Us Sinners spent the last year releasing singles mostly every month… It was a labor of love and necessity. It was a way to keep creative, and fun to pull sh*t out of thin air on a deadline. We were able to genre bounce and kinda do whatever the hell we wanted with no direction and no barometer. I’m proud as hell of what we accomplished, and am super stoked for the album of our efforts we’ll be releasing very soon.

We took January off to recoup and plot the new year. Our first single is special as it was the first time in TWO goddamn years that the entire band was able to not only be together, but to PLAY together. What you will hear isn’t the result of multiple overdubs (not that there’s anything wrong with that!), but a four-piece recorded live. “Pieces” started as a garage rocket hummed into an iPhone before getting transformed into a groove during an almost forgotten communion known as rehearsal. It's a great time to be back. Hope ya enjoy … Here’s to ‘22! Hope you’re well …

lyrics

A worried man
says times have changed
Worried minds— worried pains
Turn em out— turn em in
Again n again
When you’re world is turning down
When you’re world is turning down
To stop the fire
You get a little bit higher

Like it’s simple
Stuck like a pin
We all walk the same again
Like a river- slowly flow-n
In our times alone

That’s the way the world goes wrong
I get a little bit higher

What happens when we fall to pieces?
